About us

DENZ Ltd are the New Zealand distributors of Perma-Guards Diatomaceous Earth.  Perma-Guard is a US based company that has been supplying Food Grade DE globally for almost 50 years.  Their deposit is a "species specific" diatom and their processing is proprietary to achieving the most amount of whole diatoms.  This, combined with the lowest level of crystalline silica and clay impurities are the reason why their trade-marked brand "Fossil Shell Flour" is considered by many to be the world's purest food grade DE.

Do you ever wish you could move away from using chemical toxins in your home or garden? Would you prefer a GREEN, non-toxic alternative to common household needs but don't know where to go or what to use? The answer is closer than you think! Diatomaceous Earth - not just completely natural but certified organic, a food grade fine white powder that provides a fantastic array of uses in the household, on the farm, and in commercial and horticultural applications.

Fossilised fresh water algae deposits, once part of an enormous family called Diatoms are the largest group of plants known to mankind. With more than just a few tricks up their sleeve they have several unique properties that you will find quite simply amazing. An all family friendly, chemical free and non-toxic mineral from ancient times in the 21st century.
